I actually just recieved a couple from a seller claiming that they were clear, and they are indeed! They have a very slight blue tint to them, but nothing close to any of the various trans blues. Just thought I'd let y'all know.imperialshadows wrote:Based on the reflections and shadows, those may be trans light blue spears from set 8511-1 Frost (Technic). It happened to come with 2 according to Peeron.LORD DOOM wrote:Yeah, and where'd you get those clear spears for that matter?

They may just look more trans clear because of the amount of blue around them, but to me they don't look quite as clear as the pedestal.
That's my guess.

Think I have to catch up here...
I added some characters recently that I haven't posted here yet, so here they are:
Two barbarians:
Two soldiers playing a practical joke:
A full-armored knight:
And today's addition; two guards heading on to their next shift:

Very funny. Great use of that green helmet.
Those AT-ST driver helmets work great for Castle. What set did those dark grey axes come in?

Very nice new figs... although it feels like I reviewed the barbarians long ago; for some unknown reason.
Anyway, the barbarians are awesome, I love the armor/weapon combinations. The practical joke is kinda funny (is that a tan helmet?). The knight is also awesome, but somehow doesn't seem all that original (no offense). The two guards are really nicely done.

Learning French.
Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

The helmet is light gray, like all the knights of the Classic Castle era used to wear. It may look a little yellowish because of the lightning.
And for the armored knight...well, I just thought this was a nice combination of parts, and I immediately wanted to use that metallic visor when I got it.

These are great as usual marakoeschtra!
I've been waiting for you to post them here...
The use of the green helmet is ingenious and hilarious!
That printed armor works wonderfully with the silver visor
I recently had the same basic idea for the AT-ST helms, although I never found a good enough torso, as you have here!
Superb once more!

Great minifigs – as always marakoeschtra. I really like how you use the variety of torsos from the early Classic Castle era right up to the latest releases from Lego, for your creations. Your sense of humour is always appreciated (ala the green helmet, and the two guards).
Great work and very inspirational to the rest of us Castlers who are always trying to come up with new characters/factions.

Marakoeschtra I made the same knight as you did before I saw yours.

Anyway, your figs are all so cool.
Wurd.
Keep it up.

Just catching up again.
I didn't post these characters here yet. (quite lazy, I know ):
First, two archers:
A stable boy feeding his little horse:
A dangerous one, this female assassin:
And a very special one, a king with an entirely golden armor:

Quite nice. Your starting to really get good at these, and branch off into custom pieces. Well Done!
