I talked to you a bit about it at Brickworld. It is an exellent MOC. I love the way its roung (I know, its kind of an obvious thing to like), but its pretty awesome.

Really nice shell keep. I've always liked white castles the best, and this is definitely worth liking. The walls are great, and the walkway is very nice.

Excellent job, Ben! The 1x1s give the walkway a cobble-stone appearance. It does look kind of bare, though. I would love to see more decoration on the walls and some activity inside and around the wall. Are you thinking of adding a keep inside the wall?

Wow Ben, this is very impressive! The wall walk alone is an achievement. I don't know that I have that much patience

The "tile with panel" (because I don't know what else to call it) peice that you use for the crenelation offset is fascinating. I recall the article, but I never tried it. How stable is that? Looks like it would be fragile, but the end product is great.

What is the diameter? I assume you have two walls of bent 1x2's, correct? Is it a void, or were you able to add a support structure? Also, how did the 1x2s survive, how stressed (I need a coffee NOW!) were they?

It needs an entrance as discussed before, but in addition I would love to see some "life" in and around it, especially at a show. Landscape, plants, people, and so on. Of course I completely understand about running out of time. I took a MOC to NWBC pretty much without "life" myself, just ran out of time! The overall impression is outstanding. Any kind of round structure in brick pulled off this well deserves recognition. Well done.

The panel technique is not very stable until the walls are locked into place.

The outside diameter is 68 studs and the inside is 42 studs. An inside ring could be made slightly tighter, but not much. The keep is still assembled after two months and the bricks seem to be in ok shape.

I saw it at brickworld and you told me it was made almost entirely out of 1X2 white bricks. How did you make the battlements flat so minifigs could stand on them?

Wow. Impressive. I was looking at it last night, and I reamt about it. But it got shaken in the dream and a bunch of the tile pieces fell out. It became a nightmare putting them back in.

Whihc brings me to ask, is there enough tension between the walls that these pieces are held in pretty well?
