Do we have confirmation of that? I interpreted Sean's announcement on the site to mean that you can now upload new images to the MOCpages server. I know that MOCpage already housed thumbnails in-house, but linked off-site (e.g. to Brickshelf) for the full-sized images.

Well, if you login to your MOCpages account the following message is displayed:
Your old pages are safe!
MOCpages is automatically saving copies of the brickshelf images you have on your pages. We will store and host the images here. No need to re-create your pages! They will still work after brickshelf.com shuts down on 31-July.
However, if you manually included images in your pages using HTML <img> tags, you will need to save copies of them before Brickshelf closes.
Of course it's probably better to take everything with a grain of salt these days, but given Sean's announcement on Lugnet and the message from MOCpages, I feel a bit more comfortable right now.
