A motorcycle of my own

Post by Lord_Of_The_LEGO »

Inspired by the work of Noddy (and Micheal Jasper), I built my own motorcycle:

Your bike looks great in dark grey. It would be perfect for a military courier.

I commented on Flickr, but I'll say it again, essentially seconding what Ben has said:

It reminds me of the WWII Harleys in Military service.

Great motorcycle. The kickstand is cool, and I like the greyness.

A few things that could be improved: The 1x2 dk grey tile could be replaced by a printed one that has a few dials and such; I'm not aware of one that would work perfectly, but this might work pretty well, especially with the yellow dot at the top. Secondly, the minifig doesn't look very comfortable, but I don't know what to do about that.

One last thing. What set(s) are those wheels from? Thanks,

Nice work, Nate! It does look military... it also looks very stripped down and basic - no streamlined sport bike here!

I agree with smcginnis, the fig looks like he's standing (not sitting) and suspended a few inches in the air. You might try reversing the 1x1 plate w/clip that the fig is standing one (turning it up-side-down). That way he won't be standing on the stud and I think that should fix this minor problem.

the wheels are from the Batman line where Batman is fightting with catwoman. Catwoman's wheels on her bike and those are the same.
