Wow, what is up with THIS?

Post by TsoAutTmo »

Sorry, this may be VERY old news to some people, but I just found out.

WHat is THIS?

OKay, okay, as a Die Hard Baseball fan, I gotta say I am, uh, SURPRISED.

Where, when, and why did LEGO make this promo minifig? And why is it only for the Red Sox?

Any help would be really appreciated.

I believe this was a gameday giveaway for Boston several years ago. This would make sense because the Red Sox are one of the teams closest to the Enfield Connecticut LEGO offices.

I get the feeling that there's an unusually large contingency of Mariners fans here.

(Go Mariners!)

So I've got to ask, Andrew: do you have this figure?

Hehe, Mariners fan pride, all the way!

But it's weird, having lived in Anaheim before, I despise the Angels... maybe because they're top in the league right now :?
