Post by earl-0 »

Hi, Ladies and Knights !

Last day, I've held a castle-themed domestic contest on my blog "How Many Studs to LEGOLAND ?".
And here I can show you honourable entries of the contest.

Category 2 : "How should we use a new skeleton-torso ?"

Do I espy some of the esteemed (and rightly so) Moko's work in there?

This looks like it was a fun brainstorm for all the builders!

A lot of fun "outside the box" imagination went into these entries. Very enjoyable. Thanks for pointing it out.

Very cool! I really like some of the ones that stuck with the basic horse idea, such as these:

But my favorites were these that used the horse body creatively to make something completely different:

It's nice to see a Nightmare Before Christmas model:

I'm really impressed by some of the inventive building, especially the scorpion:

Hi.
Thank you for top-blog intorduction, Bruce. It's my honour !
Do I espy some of the esteemed (and rightly so) Moko's work in there?
Category 1 held by annonymous-rule. Entries do not know who joins in each other still now.
Maybe next Sunday when I show the result, you shall find Moko would be there or not.
This looks like it was a fun brainstorm for all the builders!
can we still enter???
Sure, sure.
Sorry, my contest was domestic only and already closed my book,
but I expect you all will show your own skeletal-stallion here !

And one more, if you would love some creation in my contest,
please let note it here for my contestants.
They love to see the castle-master-smith's opinion and review.
Thank you so much.

These are very nice, very creative. Should give the "crown" knights something to think about.

There are some wildly creative entries in this contest. Some of my favorites for the horse category are 6, 10, 17 and 19.

Akiba's entry in the torso contest has a bizzare, alien beauty. I love it. The skeletal fish entries are quite enjoyable as well.

Thank you for sharing these! :D

Hi earl-0!

I apologize for the belated response, but I'm glad I'm finally getting caught up so I can see all these great creations!

I'm still going through all of the fascinating MOCs, but some of my favorites so far are the crab in the horse category and, well, the horse in the torso category. :D

(Oh, and blogged.)

Wow what a collection of some highly imaginative MOCing! There's so many creative uses for what might seem like such a unusable piece.

What a great inspiration.
