Templar Knight - My 1st ever castle custom

Post by mmcb »

This is my first ever castle custom minifig that is complete, so please be gentle ;)

I present to you all my custom Templar Knight and horse:
Image

He has a custom designed cape and also sports my new scabbard. His horse is also sporting a matching templar barding. This is one of 4 templar designs I currentl have available.

Cheers,

excellent work. I love the templar, and the horse's barding is just plain fantastic.
One suggestion though - what about using some of those pattern cutting scissors used in scrapbooking to make wavy lines on the bottom of the barding? :D

Beautiful work Mark. I'll discuss more about it with you once I email you the details of our trade ;)

Thats not a bad idea. They wouldn't have to be really big wavy lines would they (as in like the Lego barding). I might look into these and see what I can find.

The barding, cloak, and scabbard combine to make awesme fig!

The fig also reminds me of the red haired templar villian in "he Kingdom of Heaven" movie.

Ohh yeah. I really like the fact that it is completely custom, instead of sticker on a real Lego barding. Very nice!

This is a custom that should be recognized. It shows you did some good hard work that came out very well.

Very nice, I tink I'll hace to ask you about that cape technique. The barding in the horse is interesting too.

You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.

Very nice, simple, clean Templar. The only thing I'd suggest would be a shield of some sort.
