...was designed by a castle builder from Germany. Here is my version of the east gate!

Looks good Paul. I notice the use of the hitch piece above the door to represent the carved in letters, a neat detail.

Where is this located?

That must be the coolest jail ever. I think you did a great job, especially the tower roof; I've never seen those made like that before.

thanks, this is just east of sacramento, ca. It's the second prison built in CA, 1870's or so. First was San Quentin.

There's some great old buildings in the prison. Carved by prisoners out of granite from the area.
