No. In fact, I'm very tempted to delete this thread altogether. People, you don't need to appoint yourselves the guardians of the memberlist. Believe it or not, the admins and mods are actually doing their jobs. First priority is the removal of actual porn or advertisement posts in the forums. Those get deleted as soon as an admin or mod logs on (remember, we're not on 24/7). Second priority is removal of objectionable members from the memberlist. This is slower, as only Troy and Tony have access to the memberlist. Those posters who have posted objectionable material in the forums get first priority for removal, and then those that have actual porn links. If it's merely ad links, it's not as big a deal. Also can we make this a sticky?
Here's a hint - how about not bothering to follow links from members with 0 posts? I suppose there may be some amazing MOCcer out there who signed up for an account and linked their personal site, but then never bothered to post in the forum, but I quite doubt it.
If you really must tell someone about an objectionable link in the memberlist, why not pm Troy and Tony, as they're the ones with the ability to cull the ranks?

I agree with E of Alshire. Seriously, take these to pm. Bruce, I'd fall to the temptation and delete or lock this thread. These people are not listening. If I was a moderator and people posted who was spamming in my forum I'd feel that the community thought I wasn't doing my job. These moderators ARE doing there job. Let's be respectful! I leave the topics which are obviously spam alone... If they last beyond a day then go to the pm. Seriously. It's just a waste of space and time to post "so and so is a spammer" because most of the time by the time you post it the topic is deleted and the user banned.E of Alshire wrote:Did anyone read what Bruce just posted? To moderators and Admin:
You guys are amazing. Not only do you have the time to juggle your work, family, and your own building, but enough time to comment and read other's posts on this site and others, and make sure everybody is being kind and fair, and fight the vicious eternal fight against spammers. Thank you so much.
