Troll's beatin' stick

Post by RebelRock »

I got the Dwarves Mine set today(yay!) and was happy with everything but the dumb club that the big troll is supposed to use. I made a new beatin' stick that seems a little more evil.

The cool thing about the troll hands is that they'll accept a bar width and a brick width. Therefore, a beefy stick handle can be used.

I also gave him some suspenders so I could call it a MOC. :P

That's awesome. It's exactly what I was going to do when I got one, but mine would'nt have looked as cool. Smash away!

Very nice club/mace. Great design (simple is best...well, in this case). The chain suspenders are pretty funny as well.

That's a very nice design. I may have to borrow/steal it.

Yeah, me too. When the first pics came out I was like "blech!" but now it's growing on me. After looking it over I've decided that the design is very good and it actually has some possibility for MOCing.

If you have any of that horn/claw piece in red, you could put a couple on the mace to make it look like he's already clobbered someone.

BTW, I agree on that dumb club. LEGO could've so easily created a club that you actually build. Instead they made a new piece that looks just so ... unLEGO like.

Your club actually makes the Troll look more "Lego like". That's the best compliment I can give :D

Whoa! Now I might have to actually use my troll! That is wickid. Now maybe when the troll lowers his arm, he might actually hit something.

Funny thing about the stupid club that comes with the set and the trolls weird arm movement... I came into the living room where the set was and about died laughing as my wife attempted to whack off a dwarf with the troll's club. She just looked up at me and said: "What a dumb idea... he can't even hit anything!"
