Mod Badges

Post by rogue27 »

The mod/admin badges have been clashing with the background ever since the old forum skin was lost. Can we get one with a transparent background? I can (try to) make it if needed.

The old forum skin is still there. Its just not the default anymore. Go into your profile. Run down to 'Board Style' and select 'fs2'. Then you will see the old skin. I don't know why its not the default, but you can use it. I do. :)

Hey, in case you still want a transparant version...

Personally, I think it looks better with the blue bar, mainly since that is how it has been since I have been here.

Ok, thanks!

I thought there was a time where it had been lost or unavailable after some server trouble, but perhaps it was fixed or I was confused.

I believe there was a short time when it might have been unavailable (or at least thought by many to be unavailable), but it is here and looking as good as ever these days. 8)

I would still switch it to the transparent, however, because then it looks good on both the original skin and the default 8)

I noticed a while ago that the blue background on the button doesn't match the (castely skin's) background color of the posts. If it were me, I'd make it transparent (...as mentioned before) or make the blue background match.

Well you can't really make the background of the image match the forum, because not only are there 2 forum skins, in the subsilver skin that most of us use because it's default, there's 2 colours of posts, odd posts being a lighter shade than even posts.

So transparent would be the way to go, because it would match every post on every skin :)

And earlier in my post I said...

I was talking about matching that skin. So I was never talking about the "default" skin. As that one sucks. :P I remember when it wasn't default.

babyjawa, it's not obligatory default. If you go to profile just change the skin on the bottom of the page.

Wooh, there. The default, or the normal phpbb skin, does not suck. I actually find it much more pleasent to look at. Of course, I would guess that I would be somewhat alone in that oppinion.

The :P is supposed to represent sarcasm. I'm sorry if it was unclear.

I actually view these forums on the default, mainly because I like how big it is... I guess.

I stand firm on my last post though; it wouldn't be all that difficult; just a few minutes to change it.

Hmm... well, I guess it doesn't matter to me either way... change it, don't change it... either way is fine. 8)
