I decided to do entries this year made out of Duplo (I am also doing some regular Lego ones).
It started about a month ago when I saw a Duplo set on sale and well I thought, that is something I haven't tried, so I will... (I have bought a couple more Duplo sets in the meantime)
Here is an Island Fortress (for entry into the miscellaneous section)
Note: I have tried to maintain the childishness of Duplo, because that is what I like about it. Simple and innocent and I might add great fun to build with.
Hymm... maybe.... dublos isn't very good choice... Or if you try to make lego-castle and use dublos... or is this "only" dublo castle? If is, this looks great! But good... good castle.

P.S: I have one little lego-castle MOC, and I take pictures, and publsih it today
I am not fond of the use of megablocks either, but I commend you for trying. It looks good for the most part. I like the way it gets wider as it gets higher.
It reminds me of my entry last year.

Definitely wins the award for most original entry!
I like it. Half-close your eyes and it's conventional Lego, but I like the fact you've managed to achieve something so great with something of a, how shall we say, pre-mature building material.
I know there was never Duplo like that when I was younger!
Duplo is a really interesting option though, because you are so limited by the range of bricks available (and the cost). This is a good thing and a bad thing, it is like going back to basics, nothing fancy, nothing complicated, kind of like me, but is also can be limiting.
Although now I am afraid to enter my next Duplo one *blush*
Although it doesn't have the intricacies of regular LEGO castles, that's expected with DUPLO. I think that you did an excellent job making use of the large parts and creating a tower that has both a realistic castle feeling to it as well as the DUPLO atmosphere. Nice job.
Has an anime quality to it, which I find appealing. The shape is appealing and I like the vine (I accidentally purchased a dozen before I realized they didn't mesh well with Lego). Although, I have to admit, it takes stones to enter with Duplo. Lee.

Kind of surprised so many people are down on Duplo - I love Duplo castle!
This is really cool - especially since making a realistic castle doesn't seem to be so easy with these big blocks!
I like the arching wall under the platform, that's not something you see often with Duplo bricks. The vine and the climbing knights adds a nice splash of action/adventure, and the tower itself is very cool.
Love it - I really need to expand my Duplo collection
