Hey,

I was just posting this, but saw that you beat me to it by a couple of minutes. Ben Whytcross reported this on Lugnet. Apparently they just sent out the Australia/New Zealand catalog and this is due in February. No word on release dates in other nations.

Pretty funky set. What do you think the price point will be? $20? I think there are 3 orcs/goblins + 3 soldiers, 6 spears, 3-4 pikes, 1 crown shield, orc banner. It looks like the wheels are made of big loops of these hinge bricks:

IMHO this might work better if there were a couple of giant trolls in the wheels

Weird...

Looks like ought to be something out of Star Wars, not Castle. The pic's too small to make a good judgement on... but as of now I'm not sold on the model, though the parts look good.

Haha, that looks totally demented! :D

I have to get it just for its sheer weirdness...

I can't say for sure without building the set, but it looks like it just going to fall right over. Of course, that may have been TLC's point; if you buy just 1 set it's worthless. You have to get 2 and connect them. I'm guessing $25 in the USA.

I hope this set is $20 or less, it would make a good army builder!

Something unseen in the rear likely stabilizes it. It would appear that a goblin on either wheel must hold onto the pikes as they run to opperate it. The goblin in the center gives orders and directs and they just roll over defenses. Well, it looks like trouble... for every faction! Those goblins are gonna be worn out. I would tell my archers to aim for the runners.

Oh look, the Dwarf Mine is right above it in the catalog.

Funky set. Don't know if I'll get it, I'm mainly into the figs anyway. It looks like its Trolls (*cough* Orcs *cough) and humans, and I can get both elsewhere.

That thing is bizarre. Probably will have to get it to be castle complete though.

I think this set looks like it will be $40-$50. Look a soldier with a glaive! I don't think I've seen soldiers with those since 2003!

I didn't realize that the two orcs on top were running the wheels, but now that I see that I love it!

Meh, would rather have a building but at least the minifig count looks good. I'll only be buying one of these (guessing $29.99). Can't wait till the '08 line, the orcs are an awesome faction!
