Reversable Heads

Post by Athos »

Dear Lego,

Thank you for making more reversable heads. I think this is one of the best minifigure innovations, since moving arms and legs.

I'd like to encourage you to continue to make new ones and would like to suggest making a series of yellow asleep/awake heads, like those of Ron and Hemione.

I would like to add my name to the list - thanks for making these types of heads, and please consider some more designs for the same.

Yes, the ability to have alternating expressions is a big step forward for builders.

I actually dislike the reversable heads: 1. because I hardly use them, and 2. because I'm always bothered by the fact that you can see half a face outside the edges of a minifig's hair :?

I love the ability to change expressions with the turn of a head, but I also agree with menono on the other face peeking out from under the headgear. However, I would still love to see more reversible heads; the extra face can be easily hidden by good photography, like in this pic.

I love these heads! I am always wanting more expressions than the usual smile or frown.

The whole thing with the face in the back isn't much of a problem for me, as I usually just don't take pictures of the back of the head.
And sometimes, it just looks like neck hair. :P

I wouldn't like if all heads were reversible, due to the issues raised, but I'm happy with the ones there are, and I think there's probably room for a few more. They are useful. Some existing heads would be better as reversible, like the berserk Viking head.

I realize this is a bit morbid, and probably would never happen, but I would like to see some reversible heads with a dead side.

At first I was a bit unsure of the heads, since the face on the back hangs out of hair and hats. But now I don't care about that- just swipe off the unwanted side with a smidgen of Brasso and it's all good.

The expressive faces are perfect for adding personality to your MOCs (And minifigs!).

Thank god I'm not a purist, or else I think I would dislike them.

My thoughts exactly. In moderation, and with variety, these reversible heads are a wonderful new innovation from TLG.

If they get a little too carried away thought, that would be bad.

Sleeping heads can work for that too though... Especially the fleshtoned ones:

I agree with the above, although being a fan of fleshtoned figs, I would also like to see the reversible heads currently only available in yellow to make an appearance in a future licensed set/s.
