I'd be quite interested in this meet also.

Legoland Windsor, or indeed Germany if there is one there, would both be easier in my case, but if airline tickets aren't too absurd, Denmark I'd consider pretty interesting to go to (I've been in the UK and Germany before).

Alright, now that we have a rough idea of what time to think around, we thought up three weekends, so I'll post the dates here and you can tell us if any of these weekends is not good for you:

The weekend of saturday the 31st of may and sunday the 1st of june (possibly including friday the 30th of may if you're up for it)

The weekend of saturday the 21st of june and sunday the 22nd of june (possibly including friday the 20th of june if you're up for it)

The weekend of saturday the 5th of july and sunday the 6th of july (possibly including friday the 4th of july if you're up for it)

Personally I would prefer the first one, since friday the 30th of may is my birthday and what's better for an AFOL than to go to Legoland for your birthday ;) but any of the alternatives will work too.

We would appreciate if you let us know ASAP, either by posting in this thread or sending a PM to myself or Maedhros. So that we can set a date for everyone to put on their calendar and keep free from any other plans ;)

Can't be too bad, just tell your parents you are going to meet up with a bunch of freaks who love plastic toys... oh wait... ;)

I'm going to be starting a new job rather soon in the next couple of weeks, so besides getting the time off, i'm not sure if i'll have the right amount of funds to support this jaunt.

Still put me down as provisionally going though- i still have interest in going! :D

Drat! I really wanted to see you guys but my dad isn't planning a trip to Europe anytime soon... Next year maybe; I'll be 17 and headind to Ireland... A little side trip to Denmark never hurt. (I'd better start learning Danish, maybe some Deustch)

Maybe the N. Americans could rally at CA? I'll make a topic.

Thanks to all who made this idea, you're geniueses.

2nd option is the way to go! I probably will have my finals during the course of the first option.

Hey hey. I just wanted to inform other people about the situation right now. It seems that only me,maedhros and aliencat will be attending to this event. We've checked accomodations and also the means of transportation. I'll try and acquire my visas and then I'll book my flight for June, cause it's cheaper if you buy it early. But,you aren't late so please do ask for information if you are willing to attend. Take care everyone.

This upcoming weekend is when it's going to happen! The first European Classic-Castle meet at Legoland, Billund! Because some people notified us in time they weren't going to make it, and some more cancelled recently, it's going to be small this time.

Nonetheless if this proves to be a success, we'll do it again next year!

I will take pictures and I hope the others will too, so we can show everyone what a great time we had at Legoland with a bunch of AFOL castle fans, to convince the rest of you to join us next year (maybe Legoland Windsor?).
