Happy B-DAY LEGO Brick!

Post by Donut »

This brought a smile across my face while I was browsing, it is the Google image for Jan 28 (which is today).

Does anyone know the significance of today?

edit: Tower you are correct! I just checked S@H! Happy Birthday LEGO Brick, thanks for the years and years of enjoyment!

Could it be that LEGO turned 50?

Yes! What a nice surprise when I saw this on google today. I had no idea. A lot of toys have anniversaries... it's not every toy that gets an image on google though. 8)

I saw that on Google too and was pleasantly surprised. :D

BTW, you needn't have gone to S@H to see what it was about. If you hover your pointer over the logo at the Google site, a box appears that tells you. This isn't just true of Google's LEGO design, it's true of all of Google's special logos.

Soon Lego is gonna get rinkles..... and bad backs, and knee problems.

Oh the wonders of getting old.

But lego will probably stay in shape.

Happy Birthday!

Greatest toy ever invented finally hit the 50 year mark.

I hope I'll see the brick's 100th anniversary when I'm 80. (Assuming both I and the LEGO company can survive that long.)
