Is it too early to start planning a wishlist for Christmas?

 Wow!!!! The interior just makes it that much more awesome. One of the things I've been wanting to do with my cafe corner for a while now is build a good interior for it, and this settles it, now I have to.

I can't freaking wait for this to come out.

I didn't know that lego decorated the interior, did they do that for the other sets?
No, Cafe Corner and Market Street are unfurnished, empty buildings. They do have stairs and interior access, of course, but you might want to build some beds for your townsfolk to sleep on :P

Speaking of beds, I fear the added cost of those interior details. I could see this thing hitting 160 or 170 easily.

Ok, with the interior and the tiles inside as well, I'm buying this set. I don't care if I have to sneak my parent's credit card, I'm buying it! :D

Oh, and I'd pay them back... eventually!

I was already in love with this set and now I've seen the interior... I can just say wow...

Oh, amn...

All the more reason to get a job this summer. Love it. Absolutely love it. Great details, and superb! pieces.

This set looks absolutely fantastic, but I am a little irritated by the size; it will obviously cost a lot and I wish these 'special' City sets could be a bit smaller and easier to afford.

Hey,

Apparently the Green Grocer set was displayed at a recent Belug event. Marakoeschtra has the pictures:

and many more

A couple of things I note - Umbridge hair and maybe a new torso? (not sure, I don't follow Town closely). Also, those odd star details seen in the smaller pics of the railing along the top are actually hammer heads from the rail being made of hammers and skelly legs. Another nice railing variant along the balconies. I don't see that radiator detail in the interior pics.

The more I look at this set, the more I fall in love with it!
The extra details in the back and the interior details bring this set to a level of perfection. In my opinion, this is quite possibly the best lego set ever made. Definitely the best town set for sure!

My Cafe Corner and Market Street are getting lonely...can't wait for this thing to be released.

This set is now available on S@H. I just did a search for "green grocer" and it's there.

$150. Arrives in 5-7 days. Super excited.

Oh, and I should mention I'm shopping in the US

Thanks for posting that information. I just noticed someone on ebay selling it for 180.00:

150 is a good price for that set. The Lego store is offering double loyalty points March 23-28, so if anyone lives near a Lego store, they can get 12 stamps for buying that set.

... And it's $220 for Canadians... That's too much expensive!
$150 vs. $220, I really feel that Lego think Canadian are stupid clients.

Anyway there's right, I bought it.
