I really can't see these sets going for more than $5 - $7 considering the tic tac toe set went for $15 and than contained 10 minifigs.

Nate,

That is a good point. Something I was thinking about is that the ebay lister had them at 8.99 in pounds. Usually Ebay sellers do not sell new things that are semi-unique less than what they bought it for so we can assume it was pumped up some. Usually the lego sets are not equal to the dollar to pound ratio which would be half but less so my guess is we are looking at a ceiling of 10. I'd love to see them 5-7 though!

This... is... AWSOME!!!!!!!!!! Lego, I must say... thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be a worry wort, but are these sets going to be available outside of Legoland? These are so cool, but I can't see myself finding the time to go to Legoland at all soon.

I am excited to see these battle packs, but I share your concern. If these are not sold outside of Legoland, I won't be getting any.

They're on S@H's cache, so I wouldn't worry to much about it.

Looks like LEGO is trying to hit some more home runs with these two. Now if only some orcs and dwarves ... :D

Sweet deal. I would guess those are going to be $10. Consider the 2008 Star Wars battlepacks have four figs and a vehicle for $10. So five figs alone should be the same, but probably not less considering the packaging. Now if they make a troll and dwarf battlepack for 2009 I will be insanely happy.

I would have preferred some castle battle packs like the Star Wars ones, with some pieces & the figs, but I'll still buy troll or dwarf ones if they get around to making them.

But then again, SW is a license agreement, so they're more expensive. Perhaps these will be cheaper.
And I would also buy a troll or dwarf one; I don't really want Dwarf's Mine, but I want the dwarfs...

I bought these as well as saw a new set that I have never seen before when I went to Legoland today heres the deep link:

The other set was a picture frame set with a little castle, a skeleton and a knight.

BTW does anyone know how to shrink photos with a mac, without cropping them?
