Mud Island Lighthouse

Post by Legohaulic »

I present a long time WIP. I wanted to build something that didn't really fit precisely into any particular theme. If I had to categorize it though...I'd have to say that it would be dark fantasy castle, even though there is no real castle in the MOC.

The Mud Island Lighthouse is an island in a mystical fanciful world. An old blackened tree serves as the tower for a lighthouse. The lighthouse is kept lit by a Quillan the hunchback.

Thanks to Nannan for helping supply the hunchback's head and the brown flower stems. ;)

I like what you did with the tentacle-like roots. Good use of the "Viking Wheel".

WOW! That has a great look. Everything comes togther very well in it. So is it at low tide in the scene? reminds me of some of the places I have lived at low tide when the small boats are set aground and you can see all the stuff normally under water.

Looks liike a dirty muchy place to live.

Who is the gent in black on the ladder?

This is amazing. You definitely have a unique style to your building. The fig and...well everything just go together so well. This is like an extreme fantasy moc. Superb work.

Do you have a story line behind it? It seems like an interesting scene so curious if you had a back story.

Nice MOC! I especially like the hunchback's lantern.

Good to see another Floridian here!

Wicked, man. That, as "James" so eloquently put it, is hawt. :D It looks like this would belong in a more bleak or depressed area or a fire ravaged coast of a country that lost a great war. I too would be interested in a back story although with a MOC like this, the ideas flow like winter rain.
