Entry Number One:

The Forokkon Empire has recently begun a campaign of expansion. One of their first goals was to build a fortress on the Northern Coast to guard against Norse assaults from across the Sea. Unfortunately, that act caused the Norse to retaliate. The pictures are of the Norse Midgard Clan just as they begin their assault on the Forokkon fortress's gatehouse.
(NOTE: this is only a sliver of what should be a much larger battle)

I do not agree, it is great

but maybe THIS picture would be better for contest (as I understand only one picture is allowed), THAT picture with a little more light from the side so we can see what is going on inside that cave or mine, and if you have digital photo, try few pictures in MACRO mode (usually marked in options with a little flower), which allows you to take really close and sharp pictures:)

Hope I helped

Note: this is NOT my entry

Here's my second entry:

Cry of the Ancients

Image
Post Mod Gallery

A small band of vikings find themselves trespassing on sacred ground.

This was meant to be at night, so I was having fun with lighting. Here's more or less the same shot with proper lighting:

I took your advice, changed it, and decided you were right. Maybe I do stand a chance. :D

My 4th entry:

The Battle of the Chess Board!

A chess board floats in the abyss of plain whiteness (sort of). Games of chess endlessly being played.

After uncountable years and games, Vladek finally tosses the rules aside and attacks the Knights Kingdom.

A blury overall

They (the Shadow Knights) are even dasterdly enough to shove people of the board, never to be seen again.

Bye-bye.

Yes, you are right in saying I am wierd.

Please tell me your thoughts, good and bad.
