Siege of Castle Rock

Somewhere along the western trade route in Ikros, at the foot of the Castle Rock landmark, Prince Garadaine and his comrades defend a trade caravan from a rampaging horde of Orcs and their Ogre friend.

For some reason, every time I try to look at a picture, it says, "You have been blocked by Puresight," and it says the reason is "dating." :?

But from what I can see, it's pretty good. :)
Woe is me, woe is me, I used to have a hamster tree. Then it got eaten by a newt and now I have no cuddly fruit.

Huh?! I'm sorry, but this really cracked me up! In fact, I had to restrain myself or I would have woken up the kids. Tony's battle scene is blocked by your filter? That's disturbing. What did you put in there, Tony? :)

I have no idea! I've checked and double checked and I can't figure out any reason why my pictures would be blocked. They're obviously able to be seen by others because I've gotten over 200 hits on that one picture already. Weird.

Well, if you can't access the Flickr pictures, I've uploaded smaller and contest-conforming pictures to brickshelf, which can be found HERE.

Aye, caught up on my filter too, but the reason was "violence"... :P

Anyway, it's great to see a little piece of Ikros. Actually, not that little, as there are jackals, elves and everybody else inside! (Am I seeing Kullvox there too or it's just my imagination?)

I like the big action going on. Also, the troll/ogre is a cool creation. I also think this is your best tree design so far.

Besides, I believe it's the first time we see Masark in real action!
Well... almost.

Most internet filters I know of base their rationale for blocking on a site as a whole. In this case: all of Flickr. It's the same thing at my house, so I can only access LEGO Flickr sites at school.

Love the MOC, Tony. I like the troll and the trees. Well made.

Wow, you've either been reading my story recently or you have a good memory. Yup, I included quite a few familiar faces in there - and yes, that is indeed Kullvox you see along side Garadaine. I really like those trees - not too bad a build, either, though they use the small leaves, which sadly only come in one color thus far.

You may also notice a knight wearing Little Armory gear fighting along side a knight in Brickforge gear. Just a little thing I threw in there for fun.

Thanks! Technically he's an Ogre - Steve the Ogre, but that's just a technicality.

Hey wheres Garalt. Its too bad he went sort of bad. He was a great first book main character.

Great scene Tony. Lots of great Ikros action going on in there.

Great work here. I love the woodland setting. Landscaping is one of my favorite aspects of dioramas and this is a fine example. Those trees look fantastic too. I need to get me a ton of those leaves.

I love the ogre!!! That is awesome! I never was very good at making my own creatures but that just puts me to shame! Steve looks perfect and ogreish.

The trees are very nice as well.

Where did you find a nice 14th century breastplate and bascinet?

Good memory, I did read it times enough to remember most of the characters. And I thought I could find Trouble lurking somewhere behind a tree, but that would be asking too much...

Yeah, you can never have too much of those pieces! Really cool stuff.
By the way, I'm really enjoying to see more Ikros recently. Sounds good!

I just love the trees and the sort of, "highland-ish" hills! Great job!

Not only is this a great MOC, but am more relieved to see Lord Sava building again with great frequency. Minty freshness indeed!
