As the local attorney, I'll have to side with whoever pays me most.
And I'll draft up some documents making whoever that is "legal." But of course, I'll make it ambiguous enough to leave me an out, should I wind up backing the wrong side.

It looks like the dragons are safely back in their cages. Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.Bruce N H wrote:Shoot, I seem to have missed all of this.

I laughed so hard! They need to find a "dying of laughter" emoticon we can use. Good one!footsteps wrote:It looks like the dragons are safely back in their cages. That is actually a quote that I have heard at school before, my science teachers "Science Tip of The Week." I even used it in the CCRPG for my dragon character once while he was burning a bunch of Skeletons to a crisp .
Woe is me, woe is me, I used to have a hamster tree. Then it got eaten by a newt and now I have no cuddly fruit.
Yes, it isn't original. I don't know where I first heard it, but I've always liked it.FirebenderDude2 wrote:That is actually a quote that I have heard at school before.

It's a variant on a line from Tolkien. ...Googles... Ah yes, it's very early on, when Frodo meets up with Gildor and a band of elves traveling through the Shire:
-edit- In a Google groups search, the first case I find is from 1991, but that person is dropping it in as a quote rather than coining it themselves, I think. I won't link it as the post is from an adult forum.

No idea who gets the credit for the dragon variant, but it's been bouncing around the web for a long time. I remember seeing it as a sig line in Usenet newsgroups in the early to mid nineties. It probably goes back a long time before that. Quick searches aren't doing me any good, because gazillions of people have used this line over the years.Gildor was silent for a moment. "I do not like this news," he said at last. "That Gandalf should be late, does not bode well. But it is said: Do not meddle in the affairs of Wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger. The choice is yours: to go or wait."
