Inspiration

Post by Lich Barrister »

It's a bit "me too," but thanks to the organizers and the forum for such an event in such a fine location. Castle's not normally my thing, but I'm tempted to dig out my various pieces (mostly from the old King's Castle) and take a swing at something different like a chapel. Well, maybe once I'm done playing with the stage space I've built...

But - congrats to the winners. I'd figured that either "Cry of the Ancients" - the excellent Vikings vs. Skeletons scene - or the excellent battering ram siege would have placed, but I'm sure they were on the shortlist.

Congrats all, I must say the winners surprised me quite a bit. They are all well deserved. Everyones skill level has gone up ten fold sinse the previous contest. Well done everyone. Many thanks to you Josh. You bring a much needed buzz to the community.

Hey,

Congrats to Rocko, Weasel47, Olog and all of the participants. A huge thanks to Josh for once again hosting a great contest. I'm really glad I didn't have to judge this one. There was such a large number of high quality entries that it must have been very difficult.

Congratulations to everyone who entered, to Rocko, and Weasel47 whom have had some truly amazing entries. This is definitely the "push" I needed to really get involved in castle, thank you Josh for this contest.

Congratulations to the winners!

I am sorry about me not participating, but my girlfriend left me :(((
And I focused all my recourses on bringing her back
It took few days, and I missed 5th
But nevertheless, I've made brand new moc castle, and armed great army. I will put some pictures in a day or two, because it is not important to win - it is important to play:)

Congratulations to the winners. Once again, CC has produced a contest that really highlights the talents of the builders on this site. It was a pleasure to see all of these great entries.

I have a question. Are the top runners up going to be mentioned? Or is that not going to happen?

Wow, you're away from the internet for a couple of days & the contest gets judged - typical - exciting things always happen when I'm away ;) Thanks, Josh for holding a great contest which saw many fine entries, you did a great job :)

Congratulations to the winners, especially Rocko, it's great to see one of my favourite castle builders take out the prize. Well done everyone, it was a real joy participating as always.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words regarding this contest. I think it was a big success. But that isn't my fault. Without the outstanding entries by all of you this would not have happened. So thank you all for entering. It was a pleasure to look over your most excellent battles and an honor to sit in judgment on them.

Not gonna happen. Its hard enough to pick the top three. I'm not going to make a list of the top how-ever-many. It was good...I am tired...It is done. ;)

Build On! (just something other than battles, ok?)
Josh
AFOL and his money are easily parted.

Okay. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks, Josh, for putting so much effort into this. It really made me stretch myself.

Very nice mocs everyone. I did enjoy Rockos mocs the most. But Anthony also had some good ones. Honestly everyone did. Good inspiration can be found in this topic.
