TeenLug's First meeting was a success...
Well, 4 people showed up. We almost had a brikwar (we ran out of time). There were lots of cool MOC's, LR has a lot more pieces than me and after the *meeting* we went to Pizza Hut and played LOTR Trivia, then we went to TRU and LR and Dillon bought Bionicrap

Matt,
Brickfest has a rule that it is for Adults only - however, if an adult came with you to hang around, you wouldn't be turned away. The rule exists as a precaution, BF doesn't want an army of nine and ten year olds grabbing at the MOCs all day...
and also for legal issues that surround minors. (Such as, if a minor gets hurt - who's fault is it? - it would legally fall upon the organizers of the event, which is a responcibility they don't want to take) However, if your parent came with, it would solve the legal issues.
But yeah, I'd like to see ya there!

also...in BF 2002, we had a minor who was supposed to
have come with his mother. She only came for the first
day or so to get him registered. The rest of the time
he was loud, disruptive, and annoying to other participants.
Generally, if you are going to enjoy yourselves in a fairly
non disruptive manner, then you are more than welcome.
If you insist on wrestling or horseplaying during the event,
then the organizers would most likely ask you to leave.
However, there are a few times when "child-like" role-playing
is acceptable, even encouraged: during BrickWars (organized the last couple years by Aaron Sneary), and
Evil Stevie's Pirate Game (organized by Frank Filz).
Like Lenny said, your presence would be more than welcome at Brickfest, provided you had an adult chaperone.
Personally, I would be very happy to see you guys.
Thanks, Ben
