Let us pray they do not. The Hobbit has by far the best costumazation area out of all the books. (As it is a quest and not a war), Elves, Mountain giants, trolls, hobbits, etc... Gotta go,

Lord of the Flies? Sure, you'd get lots of great landscaping elements, but no real structures.

It's all fun and games until somebody kills Piggy.

UGH... I hate LotFs.... wish I could have used my time to read something interesting or fun.

I'd love to get the new LotR's new pieces and such but I doubt Lego is interested. Thought the Hobbit was geared more to children.... maybe...

I think the LotR would have been good before this castle line came out,but now I think it would just take away from the good castle line we have now.

Lord of the Rings? 100% thumbs up! Been waiting for this for over twenty plus years. Unfortunately the movies' rating will not allow it to happen, and enough years have gone by that some kids weren't even born when they came out. Now the new Narnia movie may have a chance, but who knows? If there wasn't Harry Potter I could see this happen. Either way LEGO Castle is doing good now.

No, no, definitely no! While a lot of you may think this will be so cool if LEGO did make LOTR sets. I'm not doubting the set design or even the look of them, personally I bet they would be wonderful. No, my problem will be with the price. As someone mentioned above, just imagine the cost of licensing. And, after that costs a pretty penny, think of the price of the sets on store shelves. I think it would be very expensive. LEGO, just go with your own imagination and come up with some original set lines. You already got Speed Racer, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Spongebob, and Harry Potter. I'd say that's enough licenses.
