This set is one of my most wanted. It is perfect it in every way. The only way to make it better is to switch the figure for the classic forestmen.

One of the best large baseplate sets every conceived. All four unique Dark Forest torsos, plus a couple of wayward Dragon Masters (back when factions used to mean conflict). It was a perfect story in a box; very much within the Robin Hood mythos. Being able to walk into a shop and buy one made me quite proud and a happy growed-up person. I'd still buy this set if available.

This set has very good minifigs, a nice carriage, and I've always liked the forest elements. However, the concept is logically stupid. Who would put a permanent structure at an ambush point? Regardless, this set has great part selection, great play opportunities, and it's fantastic overall.
I wish I was collecting when this was released.
