Hey, guys: I know it sucks when your stuff or your buddy's stuff is borrowed without proper attribution, but please keep down the references to "brats." These kids could end up being future outstanding members of CC, and it sets a bad pretence, and it sets too much of a negative tone.

They may not know it's wrong. Seriously. I ran into this a lot with writing, and photos on the internet are subject to the same ignorance.

Teach and lead by example, after all.

Thanks!

It seems pretty hard to not know that something is wrong when you write a description claiming to have built something. It's not like posting pictures on a blog saying "look at these cool things I found" without giving proper links and attribution, it's a straight up lie.

Yes, Aliencat is correct. I often post my creations on lego.com.

I knew it was wrong when I stole something. I don't really know what was going through my head, I just know, that if I could go back three years in time, I would do so immediately to change what I did.

Well I'm kind of insulted that noone stole my images ... darn it ... what's wrong with my castles?! ;) Sif anyone is going to beleive a 13 year old is capable of that sort of building anyway, unless they're a child prodigy with some very rich parents...

Yeah, this has been a problem for quite awhile. Unfortunately, there are always going to be people like that out there. I am curious why they refused Rocko's request to take his pictures down. I had always heard that they would.

Fine then, whiner, just for you....

Hey, everyone! Check out my MOCs! I rock! I am probably, like, the best Legoer ever!

PS. That guy named DARKspawn stole my name, so I had to change it.

Has the kid left any sort of info to contact him. I hope he puts it on MOCpages so we can contact him.

Lets calm down folks. Torches out and pitch forks back in the shed. No need for violence.

Yeah these people are doing something wrong but this is not a 'smiting offense' so to speak.

I think those who have their MOCs should complain their heads off to TLC until they are removes and that the members there should do the same when they see a ripped of MOC on another’s page.... please make sure they are not the same person though... talk about embarrassing.

I bet TLC would flip if someone started selling ripping off their ideas........

Hey Aaron, I just saw crown manor on lego.com. At first I thought that it might be plagiarized but then I saw DARKspawn, age 34, Australia. You are gonna own everyone  .

P.S. this is a little off topic but I hope the admins/mods will forgive me

You really still don't understand do you? I've told you 3 times in 3 different threads now that the Lego Company is not responsible for this. You need to contact the Lego Club site administrators.
