TRU Coupon: $10 off of $50 Today Only! (7/1)

Post by tubes4tone »

I just discovered this TRU coupon: $10 off of $50 @ TRU

The only kicker: It is only valid 6/29 - 7/1, which is today. So if you're going to use it, do it quickly! It's valid both online and in-store.

Note: If you get the "This coupon may only be printed once" error like I did when trying to open it in a separate tab, then clear the cookies on your browser (or Private Data in Firefox) and go back to the link to be able to see the coupon again.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll take this opportunity to get the Dwarves' Mine.

According to Ultimate Coupon.com, you can type promotional code 922823 to get the same deal online.

Try 922852 online (it's on the coupon itself).

Thanks for the heads up. I may have to go to TRU today. The only problem is that I just spent all of my money on bricklink yesterday  .

I don't think you can get the Dwarves Mine because TRU online lists it at $49.99. It might be higher in store, though, so it's worth a shot seeing what they have...

I'm guessing the deal is based on a single item value so you can't combine.

After all is said and done, this is not a very good deal. It's like 5% off when considering tax. :P

Better to save your money for one of the major sales.

If you buy online, the Hoth Rebel Base wouldn't be a bad buy.

That hoth base hasn't been available online for months now.

Getting two skull castles looks like a pretty decent deal 60 bucks + shipping + tax and apparantly you can get free shipping with that bill you later thing. I haven't figured out if I trust that yet or not. So, tax for me would be about 6 bucks so 33 bucks shipped a set.

My brother says there were some dwarves mines at the TRU, but they were all up in storage.

He bought one, and one of those dwarf ... mine defense carts??

All the small sets for most themes were sold out!

Infinitely useful! The only catch is whether to grab the Dwarve's Mine or the Indy set, Peril in Peru.

Decisions, decisions.

My brother did not see the Indy set when he went.

Well, TRU pricing on the Dwarves Mine is lower than the updated MSRP that Lego gives on the Mine, so... you'll be saving a little more money grabbing the Dwarves Mine.

Grab what you need. Grab what you can get. :P

Copy the coupon (or clear your cookies and print twice). Go twice (or just in-and-out-in-and-out). Get both. ;-)

Cool, I saved 10 bucks on a few small sets. Dwarves Mine Defender, Batman and Mr. Freeze, and a City, Indy, and Crossbow Attack set that I'll send as a birthday present to a little cousin of mine.

Just wondering, why is everyone so into the Dwarves Mine? Granted it looks cool and has a couple of figs, but what makes it really special?

You got me.
Back when it first came out, I bought two to get the Dwarf figs, then sold the Orc items (Which had great re-sale value).

I built the first one.. Didn't care for the set design at all. So I guess I am also curious why it is praised so much by seemingly everbody.
