Pirates is a line known for good faces. That seems to be my brother's interest anyways. I'm liking that new uniform, though.

See if you can spot all the other new molds and prints.

If it weren't for all the new molds and prints, I would think this is just a random jumble of minifig parts...but instead this is something really mysterious. I mean, some of them look like random parts put together, while others look like they are part of new themes.

That's an interesting photo. There's alot of interesting new prints there. Is that a new princess torso, to the right of the bubble-headed guy?
The diver in the front is wearing a really old torso that I don't believe has been used in a long time.
Plus, I'm really liking the plain BLEY Flared Helm! The speckled and silver helmets of late aren't bad, but I long for plain grey(or even bley) helmets.

What this collection makes me think is that the manager got in a batch of new minifig pieces, like for the minifig PAB bin, and he just randomly stuck a bunch of them together to make this assortment.

I think that is the girl fig in the advent calender.

It'd be so awesome if these parts were making it into Pick-a-fig bins. I was just in a LEGO store last weekend and the parts in the pick-a-fig bins were pretty mediocre-plain red torsos, workers overalls, the only good torso was the flannel shirt from the wolfman set, basic hats etc. The first time I saw the bins, though, they had the new castle princess torso and death eater head, back when the princess was really new and the death eater hadn't even hit the shelves yet. So I'm definitely going to be checking the pick-a-fig bins often to see if this great assortment hits.

Very interesting. I wonder if it means there is a new line in the works. At the very least, like the pirate parts appearing in recent sets, its a sign Lego is still considering pirates.

You mean like the one on the fig directly between the pirate and the jester in the EB pic?

Anyway, I'm gonna stay "cautiously optimistic" about the possibilities for a new Pirate line, at leat until the 12th.

It just looks like a whole lot of minifigures put together at rando. The guy with the inferno hair is meant to be in the castle advent calander.

I've never seen a grey hairpiece with swept-back hair like the one in front of the bubble-headed guy. Looks like a nice mod for an Einstein figure.

Years ago I decided that I had to limit which theme I would collect, and fortunately Castle won over Town and Space. I hated to make that decision but it was necessary and with prices going up even more so. I am pleased that there might be some usable items out of this but overall will stick with Castle. The idea of buying those large ships again hurts my wallet just thinking about it. As a side note I would be interested if they redo the Islander subtheme, I really got into that years ago.

I guess I am glad for those here that want new Pirate sets but more interested in using pieces for Castle factions, which I still do with the old Pirate stuff.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely!

Despise learning and make everyone pay for your ignorance.

The water that floats a ship is the same that sinks it.

My LEGO figures keep me from being evil, drat!!

Interesting. For years I did just the opposite!

I for one would be super-happy with new Pirate sets. :D The only problem would be collecting both pirates and the new castle sets I've just gotten into lately.

Cha-Ching!

They're just the same as the other pic except cropped to show individual figs.
