Please help me StepOut to Fight Diabetes!

Recently my Aunt Betty passed away after a long struggle against Diabetes. As a way to honor her memory, and help in the fight against Diabetes, many members of my family including myself are participating in the American Diabetes Association StepOut Walk to Fight Diabetes.

The StepOut walk will be held in Hudson, OH on September 20, 2008. We will be joining more than 100,000 participants in 180 cities nationwide who are walking to fight diabetes. The dollars raised through StepOut go towards research, education, and advocacy efforts to help the tens of millions of Americans affected by diabetes.

While I am not much of a health person myself, one way to prevent diabetes is to stay away from sweet stuff.

Prince Imdol, there is diabetes type 1 and type 2 type 1 you can not prevent by staying away from sweets. But type 2 can be awoided by staying away from the sweet stuff.
