That's a problem. I've let Steve Witt know. Thanks!

Well I just got off the phone ordering this set and I am very happy that I was able to order 2 @ $74 plus change shipped to my home addy. The phone service was courteous and delightful. I don't know her name, but she was quite well aware of what was going on. She told me that the phone orders have been literally pouring in; this day has been one of their busiest ordering days ever. I believe US and Canada Castle fans, you have spoken with your dollars quite loudly. I tried to be as charming as possible, but even that limited me to two copies. The limit is strict but given how well they are tracking it it is entirely possible for a re-run or similar item one day. Let me just restate that the LEGO S@H service couldn't be happier with our response, or more glad to offer it to their customers. I doubt this oversight will happen again.

LEGO has once again pulled a winner from the ashes.

Thank you for setting this up guys/gals. I am very excited. :D

All these advent threads are making my head spin. :P

Today being my first phone-in to S@H, I think what really struck me was just how absolutely delightful the sales rep was. We were joking to each other and actually carrying on a "real" conversation while she was waiting for the computer to do its thing– I never once had the sense that she was trying to get me off the phone or just "do the job", as it were. That was very impressive.

In short, it was (*gasp!*) like talking to a real person instead of just someone on the phone.

I mentioned that I had a code, and they replied that they needed that too. They were probably just used to getting so many calls for the set. But they wouldn't let me order 5614 Good Wizard!

Try the $95 (including shipping and taxes) I was charged for two to Canada! Double-ouch!

Still think Steve should have brought a pallet-load with him to BrickCon. 8)

Their customer service is amazing. I had a problem with an order last year. I spoke to a rep and got disconnected during the call, and she actually called me back!

You likely got sent to their overflow call center. Whoever they contract that out to isn't very good, and they often are not up to date on things.

It's usually easy to tell when you've been sent there, and I usually just hang up and call back hoping to get to a real S@H rep.

How much does each one cost?
Edit: never mind that. How long does this last for?

Not sure. Until they run out, maybe? In any event, I'd figure it won't last long.

Get it while you can! I don't think they will get any cheaper (unless they go on sale after Christmas).

I would be suprised if LEGO had any left over, considering the interest in the set on this site alone. As Ben said in his email the ordering code was to be sent out to other AFOL fan sites.

I called around 1:00pm. Had to wait a few minutes on the phone, not too long. I was asked for the code for my order. The person also asked me if I knew about the City calender. I said I did, but wasn't interested in getting any. I was going to order just the one Castle Advent Calender but my brother wanted one too at the last minute. So I got two for $68.93. :)
