To Steve Witt...

Post by Traveler »

Given the general negative tone of the comments in this Dear LEGO forum(complaints, requests, you ought to do this not this, etc.), I would like to take this opportunity to praise TLG in general and Steve Witt in particular for doing such a great job bringing the 2008 Castle Advent Calendar to us here in the US. As I understand it Steve went above and beyond advocating for us USA-dwelling castle-loving AFOLs, and for that I commend you.

I haven't bought much directly from LEGO in recent years, largely due to the color change, and so it was really nice to be able to directly support the company whose products I love so much again. Once again, TLG has demonstrated excellent quality in customer service as well as products, and I will definitely not forget how great it was to find out that I'd be able to get this set.

It arrived today and I cannot wait for December to come so I can start opening it!

Sincerely,
-Dan

Thanks to all involved from the LEGO corp for having the flexibility to make a win-win for them and FOLs, Ben/Steve, and the nice customer service female rep who took my order.

Perhaps this will convince LEGO marketing not to ignore the North American market for Castle advent calendars, just a hope.

Yes, Steve and everyone else involved with the North American Advent Calender order needs to be given a standing ovation for their help! I too can't wait to start opening the doors on the box. :)

Steve,

You did good! The new 2007 on has been great, to me 2008 better and 2009 with 10193 looks like it will beat them both! Well done.

Thanks to Steve and all the people at Lego who have done things in our favour. We are sometimes a pushy lot and forget to be grateful
