What sets did you get under your tree?

Post by siabur »

We kinda made out this year. What was your haul?
Space Skulls, Star Justice, Hot Rod Garage, Dr. Infernos volcano, Agents sub, several new city sets, 12 various impulse sets, and 2 cannon battle pirate sets. Of course car stuff, clothes, some jewlery, and cookies for the dogs. Hope you all had a good and safe Christmas.

I got Lego Batman for the Xbox. No actual bricks though...

Though I'm hoping to hit up the Lego store tomorrow and make up for it... :D

None. Apparently nobody loves me. I did get the Medieval Market Village ordered today, though. Hoping to see that one next week, along with my Castle Advent Calendar. :D

I love that set. When you get it put together, tell me if I'm totally nuts or not. After I put that set together, I had, among other things, two spare parts left that don't seem right - a 1x2 reddish brown brick and a 1x2 reddish brown plate. I noted that the inventory in the back of the second instruction manual noted that two of the bricks and one plate were included, and I placed all three of them where they belonged. But after buying 17 LEGO sets in the last month, that's the first time I've found spare parts like that. Maybe mine was just an oddity or something. Who knows. Anyway, it's a sweet set. The pictures online don't do it justice. Enjoy! :D

I got the Giant Castle Chess Set and the Imperial Fort set. I also got a digital camera of my own, so I don't have to use the family's any more.

In Christ,
Now we're talking. I'm getting that chess set ordered tomorrow. I've been putting it off for too long now and today I noticed that The Final Joust set is completely sold out on the LEGO Shop at Home site, the Knight's Catapult Defense set has been completely removed from the site, etc. I better snatch up that chess set or risk having to pay double for it on Amazon.com or somewhere else later. Ugh. Anyway, those micro-sized siege towers that the skeleton archers ride on in the chess set totally rock. They're like miniature versions of the one that comes in the Tower Raid set. Congrats. :)
