Metallic armor

Postby Seikfreid » Tue Dec 30, 2008 8:39 pm

I read on the forum a while ago about using some material to make armor and helms metallic by first spray painting them black and then applying the material. There's one problem- I can't find that post again to see what material to use. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Thanks

Rub-n-buff has to be what you are wanting. Two Tonic Knight does an awesome job with these. Another thing used is a product called Pearl Ex Pigments that Lamanda talks about in this thread. Good luck with what ever you find and use.

I buy LEGO, I play with LEGO, therefore LEGO are not for children, they are for me!

Yes, that's it. Thanks to both of you!

Thanks, I'll have to try that one. I'd never heard of it before.

Thanks for posting the link QB22! My knowledge of minifig customization has grown extensively because of this!
