Sunset Castle by Rack911 Huang

Hey all,

Rack911 Huang has posted this Sunset Castle on MOCpages.

I particularly like some of the plate-built details like the figures between the windows on the upper floor in the left-hand pic and at the top of the arch in the central pic below. I think these would be great in a gothic cathedral MOC. Also a nice detail with handle plates and clip plates along the top layer in the right-hand pic.

Some nice details. The structure itself is impressive, but I far prefer the decayed interior.

Yeash the details on this model are really great, the archietcture is self is really rather simple, but all the little carvings and statues make this really appealing.

Not sure how it would function as a castle though, all those large openings... :P

Wow, thanks for posting this.
The idea is very good and well done. Light in the pictures is perfect.
Lots of details and nice ideas.
I love both the interior and the outside.
Nice sculpture too.

I can't help but think of Digory and Polly's visit to the ruins of Charn in The Magician's Nephew when I look at this. (Minus the skeletons of course). I love it!

It does look more like the ruins of a stone-built city than a castle.

WOW.

It's been a while since a Castle creation has had me floored and speech-less, but this is just...just wow!!!
