castle 2009 sets

Post by albero78 »

I don't know if I am allowed to speak about it (if I am, please censore me :) ) but the new images about LEGO castle 2009 sets that are circulating on the web are, according to me, disappointing.

Very Knight and Kingdom style and nothing comparable to sets like 10193 or even the beatiful dwarves' mine that we had in 2008.

What do you think?

No idea what you are talking about. The only pics I have seen are like trying to understand modern art. :?:

From what i've seen the troll fortress looks impressive; however, the drawbridge structure is underwhelmind.

Then again these are lousy quality and likely prelim pictures so we shall see.

Fig wise they rule, with the queen, jester, golden knight, and two giant troll guards with brown clubs.

In the last days it was possible to see better pictures than the blurry ones we had seen before.

I'm pretty sure I spy plumes on the golden knight and what looks like the king.

Anyone like how the jester is about to get speared by the skeleton?

All pics are prelim, but I hope the King set's trolls both still come with shields.

If you don't think if you can speak about it, then chances are, you can't. Somebody lock this up please!

I'm excited because it looks like there is going to be a Creator set similar to the old "Mythical Creatures" set, but in red. Yay for dragon and monster-making parts packs!

This all sounds like speculation to me. So...away to Dear Lego with you! :D

From what I have seen the new sets looks to be a great deal like 2007 and 2008 so just as those years I will likely get as many as I can. Since I have seen little but fairly fuzzy pictures it is hard to say if I like the design etc. Looks like fewer sets this year so maybe an easier year on the wallet, though I might get multiples of a few. I got all 2008 but the wheel, keep hoping it goes on sale as I do not know if I want it for full price.... :D

I'm loving the new sets, all except for one 'golden' fig.
