another thing to consider is the number of large parts. This could drive up the cost of the bridge as it looks to have some bigger arches and BURPS?

I will buy all 3 sets....

This is going to be a good year for me.

Giving up my Star Wars Legos, will save me a ton of money. Like switching my car insurance to Geico.

I may buy 2 troll fortress.

I will sell the Jester from that set, as I feel the one I have is enough

It was hard to get a full sense of the thing from the pictures - It almost seemed like it wasn't set up right, or configured strangely - but I do agree that at the moment, it wouldn't seem like a good value when compared to the KCS for 100.

I'm sorry to burst some of your bubbles but there is no way that the Troll Fortress is going to be less than $99 American Dollars. Two giant trolls, a mounted knight, Troll King, and other figs..... I think the $99 is a fair price and I will pay it. Just like the Towere will probably be the $49 like the Pirates Soldier fort.

OK.... after reading and rereading the CC policy on leaked info I think this is OK (Troy used it as an example so its good right!)

http://www.toywiz.com/legocastle.html

Has the prices at 119.99, 48.99 and 24.99
As they have a mark up we can assume I think
99, 35, 20. This might be slightly higher than the real prices but I compared the mark up to current sets and tried to match their price to TLC.

If I am wrong about this and it breaks CC policy let me know and I will delete is ASAP!!!

Heir you beat me to it!

but.....i'm thinking 89.99 for the troll fort based on the price they have listed for KCS.

Man do they actually SELL anything at those inflated prices? they make TRU look cheap

THose prices are insane...who would pay 189 for a M.M.V.? It just came out, it will be around for quite awhile.

TW,

I agree I think 89.99 is the more likely but since I only had the troll warship to work from I had to estimate and I went high as no one is sad to pay less for a set! :D

I actually found it two or more days back but was unsure if it violated the CC rules on leaks. I had to reread the policy a few times and it took me a few days to find it via the search function.

Prices are not too bad for most of them. If the bridge is 30-35 I will get two at least (need that Gold Knight). Still hope the Mtn. Fortress is 79.99 not 89.99 but either way better than 99.99

I don't know anything about the site to which you linked, but I am confused by it. You can buy the Troll Warrior (set 5618) from them here, but the artwork on the box makes it look nothing like the set directly from lego seen here.

Can someone enlighten me about what's going on?

I had seen that one as well. Seems like an alternative version. Amazon has it as well.

Toywiz and the seller on Amazon is using the prototype picture for the Troll Warrior set. That's why there's a "confidential" watermark on the picture itself. Kinda lazy how they didn't update it with the proper one... Their prices are also higher than S@H prices!

Wow totally a bummer that they dropped the armor on the troll warrior. I would have bought 4 or 5 more if the hadn't!

EDIT: The best part is the description "The evil troll warrior prepares for battle with his swrod and canon." LOL

Anyways, this is an interesting find and does hint at a sub-100 price point for the TMF and probably 40 for the DD. But you really have to wonder who is buying stuff from this site. Makes me think it's a front for some kind of illegal operation or something!

eh they show up high on google results so they prob get some buyers who just don't know better.

but still the prices are SO inflated. Only thing i could see them doing is selling some of the discontinued stuff.
