Does anyone do BrikWars gaming in the south?

Post by Mudpuppy »

I'm in South Carolina and I can't find a group or any individuals around that actually do Lego gaming (much less.. Lego anything).

I put a post on Lugnet as well (3 months ago) and there hasn't been a single response.

Anyone around who is interested or has some suggestions? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Hey, I'm in upstate South Carolina! It kinda sucks uphere 'cause there's not much Lego stuff going on except for the occasional First Lego League at the local college... and of course it's not related to castle stuff anyways...

Upstate of SC

Post by Duckingham »

I haven't gotten into BrikWars, but I have been looking for a way to organized with other AFOLs in the upstate of SC.

I've been researching how to set up a LUG. Did some looking on LUGNET, but it has me pretty well confused -- Mudpuppy, I haven't seen your post, but looks like it would have been the first half of last year.

So, anyhow, I'm willing to help organize a LUG in the upstate, if we have some interest here.

Also, if there is some interest (my primary job is a webmaster), I could go ahead and set up a forum for that on one of my websites.

Whaddya say?
I like LEGO Stuff. I have a blog called BricksABillion, a webcomic called The Brick Side, and I do some freelance artwork at Duckingham. And I am sad that there are only 24 hours in a day.

To anyone else who stumbles on this post in SC, we're starting a SC LUG, and I've started a forum to facilitate it.
