Dear LEGO (and AFOLs),
Many of the fans of LEGO are avid users and members in online communities. We post often, and at great length about the virtues of the Brick, it's applications and the Minifigures we all love. Could there be a market here to explore?
Why not try a basic collection of Minifigures in various costumes with a new assortment of heads bearing the expressions of our familiar emoticons as you see here:

I am sure there are many others, but it seems like a perfect marriage due to the common coloring and recognizable patterns.
What do you think? Is there a market for this?
Sincerely,
-Aaron-

IMHO that's a really awesome idea, though you probably don't need to wait for LEGO to make a set, as the shape of the minifig head is recognizable, but not really something with a reserved trademark (correct me if I'm wrong...)
I imagine it would just take someone with a little experience in creating GIFs and a willingness to donate a couple hours of time to making them. FWIW

I like LEGO Stuff. I have a blog called BricksABillion, a webcomic called The Brick Side, and I do some freelance artwork at Duckingham. And I am sad that there are only 24 hours in a day.
They already exist, and are used no a lot of Lego forums out there. They are even used in our very own Classic-Castle Chat.Duckingham wrote:I imagine it would just take someone with a little experience in creating GIFs and a willingness to donate a couple hours of time to making them. FWIW
and are just a few examples, but there's hundreds.
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs
