Grey horses

Post by legokilt »

Has anyone ever wondered why TLG has never come out with grey horses? I think they would be a great addition to the three horses they already do. For the Crown Knights, I think it would be great to have one of the knights with the dark blue torso, light grey legs, crown armor and the viored helmet with the dark blue plume sitting on a grey horse with a dark blue saddle and headgear or barding and headgear.

Well, im not quite sure if this post belongs in this particular part of the forum, but you do bring up a good point. I never really thought about grey horses. I am not sure why the though never crossed my mind to be honest. Although, despite a lack of grey horses in the past, I would certainly love to see some made...

I think this would be better in Dear Lego...

It might just be because grey horses simply aren't that common compared to white/brown/black (I'm making a bit of an assumption here, sorry if it's wrong). Anyway they managed Buckbeak so clearly doing a grey horse is not beyond them.

Light grey was the most popular requested new horse colour in this poll, followed closely by dark brown.

I'm working on a custom grey horse, My niece fingerpainted one of my white one's multiple colors, and I couldn't get it all off.

I imagine grey horses don't exist because they will camoflage too much with castle walls.

Maybe it would be confused with a donkey?

OTOH... I'd kind of like having donkeys in the LEGO castle theme!

Trans-blue please.

It would make a great sea horse.

If we get trans blue, I would like glow-in-the-dark ghost horses ;) That would also be a good idea for the skeleton horse too.

A red horse and a pale green (maybe sand green) skeleton horse please.

Red? For what?

I do like the idea of a moldy horse skeleton though...

After reading these posts, it is painfully apparent that LEGO needs to consider looking into aquiring the "My Little Pony" licence from Hasbro.
