I really like this—and I think the cow actually adds to the scene. The wall is very nice. I like the change from the average grey. Well done.

Re: City of Calné, east gate
At first I did not like the colour combo on the wall but it really has grown on me looking at it a second time. Looks like a nice scene as well with the lady looking a bit uneasy and the lead soldier looking like he is out on important business.
Nice work.

Re: City of Calné, east gate
I have to say my favorite part of the MOC is the life-like atmosphere that seems to come alive from the picture. The orderly feel of the determined soldiers headed off somewhere and the expression on the woman's face seem to go well together. The tan walls of the east gate are something not usually seen and rather interesting. Nicely done...
Re: City of Calné, east gate
I have to agree. The mainly tan wall is very nice, especially with crenelations on either side of the walk. I could easily see this wall structure in use in a Jerusalem moc.smcginnis wrote:I really like this—and I think the cow actually adds to the scene. The wall is very nice. This is gorgeous. Very effective use of tan and the fig posing is nice.
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Interesting way of building the wall. The Tan color seems strange at the beginning but at the end of gallery the effect is good. Now I'm curious of using the log bricks in a blay wall.
Good work!

I have to disagree with Jalkow. The cow makes the scene!
