I really like the plate-built stonework on the side, though it needs to be integrated a bit better - looks a bit off being framed like that. Also, the snow looks good - maybe some snow drifts to enhance the effect?

Overall though, a good start.

Where are those helmets from?

That would be 'filler' in the walls- random stone and such piled between the brickwork to thicken the walls. It's a cross-section.

Cool little work. You use a great array of technics and i liked the offset cheeses at the small roof.
I also never seen a shield like this, very ingenious.

But i don't like some "stones" that are apart from the wall. Like some dark-blay tile that have a gap between then and the wall.

Good work and I'm curious about the next works :)

I like the snow effect, the roof over the main door and the dwarves.

Wow, this is really fantastic, Ethan. I especially love the cheese roof—looks great. Also, the path is cool and I like how the well seems to go below ground level. And great job on the construction of the walls, lots of cool details.

I really like this. The arches look great, I love the use of color accents and the snow. The ladder (?) on the right is really cool. I like the brick accents around the windows and door and at corners. and I like the implyed structure.

The only suggestions I would make is that the walls need crenellation on top. perhaps use 2 light gray 1x1s with a stud on front and then a dark gray tile to make the crenellations have more depth.

As for the helmets. . . I've wanted to do that to a helmet or two I just need to get one or two with damage to the neck protector. :)

Dude. You're alive?

This is really nice. I can't think of anything I don't love, really. Great implementation of various techniques.

I like the building design, particularly the way you've done the "cross-section" (if that's what it's supposed to be). The snow-covered tree is really neat too. The chopped Legos make me wince, but that's just a matter of personal taste and style. I don't do it, but I acknowledge its legitimacy as a technique. (On that note, the grappling hook/shield was especially interesting.)
