Three Years and None the Worse for it!

Post by Remyth »

Welp folks, it is just about that time! Three years ago, on this... interesting day, I joined this great site. Since that day (sheesh, it seems like such a long time ago!) I've grown both in my building and maturity-wise. I'm not sure how many of you were here when I joined, but I posted quite a darn few posts on my first day... I'm honored to be part of what I think is the best LEGO community on the web, and maybe the best online community period. In any case, I love you all and hope to be around you all for many more years to come!

Anyway, on to the meat of the matter. I'm going to follow QuickBlade's example and thank the people that have helped me become a better builder and, in most cases, a better person in general.

First up: Chris "wunztwice" Wunz
I know, he is my brother. However, he is also much more than that. He spurred me into joining CC and to get back into LEGO in general. More than that, he is always very supportive and has helped to bolster my already growing skills in the LEGO Castle world. Aside from LEGO, he is a great person, easy to talk to about anything, and has always treated me very well. His support and backing has helped me more than I can say. For that, I take my hand off to you, mate!

Note- More to come later, as I have time.

Thanks!

So you thought you were joining classic-clickits, eh? I knew there was something odd about you...

Two more:

Josh "JoshWedin" Wedin:
Josh has been a great friend ever since I joined here. He always has something good to say about any MOC and always acts friendly. I met him in person just before my first anniversary (BrickFest 07) and he has been very generous to both me and Chris. Congrats on the promotion to Admin (a while ago...) and I hope to meet up with you soon!

John (J1A3L5) Langrish:
John was the first AFOL that I talked to outside of Classic-Castle. I have enjoyed talking to him and meeting him at conventions. John is a great builder and has given me quite a few tips that have improved my own building. He introduced me to quite a few people and made me want to get to know other AFOLs better. Thanks John!

Wow, three years already! Good stuff :)
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs
