Harold, The Traveling Castle Fig
I took the majority of of my Harold pics tonight. I have a few more to take either Tuesday or Wednesday, and then I'll send him off.
Don't worry, Harold is having a good time, and he still has his axe. You'll get to see him use it against a most unlikely foe.
EDIT: Harold is packed up and ready to go. I should have pics up on Thursday evening.
EDIT2: Harold is still packed up and ready to go. I haven't gotten to the post office yet, but he will be mailed Friday or Saturday... or Monday.
Also, pics are up on bricklink inside my "castle" subfolder. Here's a picture of Harold and I building a huge castle out of LEGO:

Re: Harold, The Traveling Castle Fig
Harold has landed on the Planet 100% Fly!
I'll get around to taking pictures with him ASAP, then in 2 weeks there's a LowLUG meeting where there will be lots of AFOLs and lots of MOCs, Classic-Castle's resident MrTS and Stuifzand will be there as well, to name a few, so I'd like to take Harold there too so he can feel at home between a bunch of Lego freaks and Lego creations. I'll be sure to take all of my planned photos of him/ with him before then, so I can get him shipped out ASAP after that.

Re: Harold, The Traveling Castle Fig
Just as an update: I took some awesome pictures with Harold already, but this weekend we're having a Lowlug meeting where an expected 50 AFOLs will be present with MOCs, so I want to keep Harold for a few more days so I can take more pictures of him there too with everyone and their MOCs.
After that I'll be sure to ship him out ASAP to my good friend Scnicker in Istanbul, and then put all the pictures up.

Re: Harold, The Traveling Castle Fig
Here's the first bunch, I will add more after tomorrow's Lowlug meeting.
Harold meets Aliencat
Harold arrived on a somewhat cold day in march and looked a bit travel weary. My first idea was to let him look out the window a bit, I live in an old part of town and my window looks out on an old church and a café that used to be an inn. I figured the view of some medieval buildings would make him feel less anachronistic:
My wife and I decided to take him out into town for some fun. Here is my wife's hand holding him up:
I figured some more old scenery would make him look swank:
Since we saw a MOC of it on the Classic-Castle.com frontpage a few weeks ago, and it's so close, we decided to take him to the world-famous Kölner Dom, here it is in the distance:
And much closer:
None of these people minded Harold's presence:
We also met some visitors from the Glens:
Then I had the crazy idea of climbing up one of the towers of the Dom with Harold. We paid the entrance fee for two adults (my wife and I) and smuggled Harold in without paying! I hope no one noticed.
Up we went 600 steps (why couldn't they plan in an elevator shaft when they started this thing in 1248), here we are up in the tower:
Judging by the smile on his face, Harold isn't scared of heights:
And here's another shot when we were halfway on our way down again:
Here's the Brickshelf folder when public.
I'll have more pictures after tomorrow's Lowlug meeting, where also some Classic-Castle members will be present, like Stuifzand, Marakoesjtra, MrTS, Jalkow, Mahjqa, I might still be missing some. I'll also take pics of Harold with my MOCs and other people's MOCs there tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Wow AC, that's a heck of an incredible time you guys are showing Harry! Harry has never looked so swank.
Can't wait 'till tomorrow.

Re: Harold, The Traveling Castle Fig
Harold's travels continue! He's having a great time here!
Upon arrival at the Lowlug Meeting today in Gendringen, the Netherlands, Harold immediately noticed our big Lowlug maxifig and wanted to have a chat with this giant. The figure was so tall though, that Harold had to climb up on his shoulder to be able to speak to him:
It didn't take long for Harold to meet our very own Classic-Castle Master Builder, MrTS:
Since Harold originates from the USA, he decided to show some patriotism at Oscar (Legoscar)'s Moonlander:
He also went on holiday to Venice, in Thomas (Thomassio)'s Venetian street scene:
He had a little joyride on Ruben (WorkfromtheHeart)'s Monster Truck:
And in Lego's very own Technic excavator set that Fedde brought:
Harold decided to give these kids some pointers on how to fight, right in front of Classic-Castle member Jalkow's house:
To get a bit more in the Castle mood, he also stopped by Erik (Eti)'s miniature 10193 Medieval Market Village:
Alex (Elex)'s dragon looked to be having a great time picking Harold up:
Then it was time to do some serious sunbathing on Bricknook's yacht:
Before having a deep insightful chat about the mysteries of life with Erik (Eti)'s sigfig:
I asked Harold not to forget going by Koffiemoc's Webhoster, which was an entry for Classic-Castle's Job Mullers Contest:
And Saskia (Classic-Castle member stuifzand)'s Weather Controller for that matter, also a Job Mullers entry:
And MOCkingbird's Professional Soccer Player, another Job Mullers entry, where Harold rudely kicked a chicken, with a smile on his face!
On the way back from the Soccer Player's house, Harold hitched a ride on Miffy's sled, also built by MOCkingbird:
He also played the little devil on the shoulder of my own Necron Heavy Destroyer:
And got to drive my Forklift. Luckily for him it's a remote controlled Forklift, because his little hands can't reach the steering wheel, and his little feet can't reach the pedals.
After that wild joyride, Harold expressed his sheer excitement to my sigfig and his friend, the Biker Mouse from Mars who were chilling on some tires, to give their eternal cat-and-mouse-game a rest for a bit:
One last MOC to visit before we ran out of time, Barbara (McBricker)'s Fountain by the City Gate:
When it was time to pack up and go home again, Harold wanted to go with the maxifig, because he's much more fun than me:

Great pics Aliencat.
Taking a look @ the list and the average speed lately it looks like he might be back around this way for next BrickCon (October) or possibly end up with Brendan @ BBtB.

I hope he'll be around for BrickCon. He was supposed to go with me last year, which is why I was at the bottom of the list!
Ah, well. I'll get him eventually. And he'll STILL go to Seattle, I promise!

Really nice AC! It looks like the lowLUGgers had a lot of fun!
I tried to join into the forum (lowLUG) but it wouldn't let me in! Just because I use hotmail!
