Hi! I'm the newbie frenchie
Hello my name is Julien. I'm 25 years old and I live in Bordeaux, France.
This is less than a year since I went back to LEGO. I have again bought it when I discovered the new castle 2008.
For a long time I read your forum and I am in awe of your creations. I hope one day making some beautiful creations.
Sorry for my poor english.

Welcome to the forums! Don't worry about your English, there are some Americans with worse english than yours...
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

Hey there Homer (I can't believe that name wasn't taken yet ), welcome to Classic-Castle.
Definitely don't worry about your English, this is an international forum, with members from all over the world, so of course not everyone's mother tongue is English. So far I perfectly understand what you're saying, so no problem

Don't worry about your english, when i became a member of CC my english was quite bad as well, but reading and posting here helped a lot to improve it.

Julien,
Bonjour et bienvenue!
Hope you enjoy the CC. Sadly I really only read French (mostly Anglo-Norman actually) but there are loads of people around who can help if you hit a language wall.
So do people in Bordeaux think of themselves as Gascons? I know it was a long time ago Gascony was a semi-independent country but just wondering if that were still the case.
Welcome again!

Hi Homer, welcome here to 3C, from Nantes.
If you feel lost or in need regarding the specific vocabulary here, ask me. I may help you or learn too.
AlienCat> I was wondering if the expression "mother tongue" could be used in other languages than French, it seems that can be done.
