So I working a lot (history and guide) in a famous medieval city, "pérouges" and now I'm working in a beautiful castle, "le château des Allymes", a stronghold of 1315;
I'm fan of lego and playmobil, I'm a member of the french playmobil association before a long time but I don't know many legofans for castle in france. So I hope meeting here many fans from Europe and from the world and I hope made you perhaps a guided tour in my medieval cities.
I'm working in XIIIe-XVe world in lego, more realistic as possible, my dream is to made a cathedral, but when I have many bricks for made a beautiful church I will be happy.
I hope that my english could be comprehensible

Hey there Foulques, and welcome to Classic-Castle. I'm a few hundred kilometers north from you, so I don't know what you consider nearby
I prefer to build realistic castles myself, so I'm sure we could exchange some techniques and fancy building details.

Welcome to the board!
If I wasn't so big a Lego fan I could easily see myself spending large amounts of money on Playmobil instead.

Welcome to the CC. I also am interested, have an education and career in medieval history. I do living history for 1330-1360 actually so a kindred spirit. The 14th and 15th centuries are what I focused my MA and PhD on though I am interested in most of the period. I make armour and all sorts of fun stuff in addition to castle lego as my hobbies.
You should get some pictures of Château des Allymes up as there are not many I came across online. Looks like a lovely castle though! Have not been to the SE of France but would love to get a look around Provence and the Rhone.
Welcome again!

Hi foulques, seems that some froggies are getting onto this site these days!
Welcome here.
I'm not professionally into history, but I'm fond of middle-age litterature, as I didn't take time to read much, I only read le roman de renart, in original form.
