Medieval village / Modular Castle section

Post by Clarkryang »

This is a section to a huge modular castle I am building. I previously built the gatehouse and posted pics on here. The overall castle will be about 5'x7'. This section of the castle has the stables, Inn, blacksmith, and apothecary, along with a section of wall and a tower. This is a link to a blog I set up of the castles I have built. I am working on getting all the pics of the last castles on there. Check back periodically to see the future sections of this modular castle. Let me know what you think.

Nice, but could you post a shot with it connected to gatehouse?
^You should be more concerned with what's written above^

Sorry, I wish I could post a picture right now of it connected to the gatehouse, but I am selling this creation to someone as I build each section, so I can't post a pic of the sections together until my buyer receives this section and then sends me a pic of them connected. I will post one as soon as I can though! :)

You are selling that.... must be very sad to let something like that go.

Pretty nice work. I hope someday we can see it all in one place in all its castly goodness.

I love the basic tudor style structure, great MOC, I'll second what he said above, it must be sad to see that thing go.

It is very sad to let it go, but $2350 helps! :-) It actually works out good for me since I don't have enough space to store my creations, and I don't have the heart to take them apart. I am really hoping he sends me lots of great pics when it's all finished.

Holy cheese and rice! That's a lot of money! Wish I had that much to spend on Legos...

Nice job by the way.
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

Stunning. Awesome. Inspirational.

I've just scrolled down the blog page and my jaw has bounced off the desk more than once.

Lots going on in your MOCs but it looks right and not cluttered

I love the Inn.

Congratulations on the cash, by the way. I know I'd be sad to part with such a creation.

I was really lucky to find this buyer. I used to sell my castles on Ebay, since I hate taking them apart. This buyer actually bought one from me on Ebay and then told me that he wants me to keep building him castles. So, I cut out Ebay from taking my hard earned $$$! This whole modular castle will end up being in the ballpark of $20,000. I just hope Lego keeps making sets with the parts I need! It's getting harder and harder to get good deals on gray bricks!

Great Build. I love the tower, and how high the battlements are. The town looks great, but I personally am not a fan of the muli-coloured walls, but I do know that are popular with a lot of other castle builders.

It is a shame that you are selling it, but at least it is going to someone who will love it. Keep on building those awesome modular castle components.
