3300

Post by dgh »

Hello all,

This Month I will pass 3300 minifigs in my castle collection.

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=dgh

One disclaimer is that I only have about five hundred horses, and had to use them more than once in the pictures. You can also see I am short quite a few helmets. But the minifig count is 3283 as of today.

As you can tell I am a huge fan of the Black Knights, the ultimate faction.

I have been collecting since 1990 in Europe, Asia and America. Been to Lego land in Denmark and San Diego. And my first Bricklink order was so old it only has four digits. I have survived several years of no lego castle runsand have been happy that it continues to be a Lego staple.

Aside from the Yellow Castle, the sets I still need are:
1974, Smuggler's Hayride; 6010 Supply Wagon; 6030 Catapult; 6040 Blacksmth's Shop; 6055 Prisoner's Convoy; 6073 Knight's Castle; 6077 Knight's Procession; 6080 King's Castle; 6083 Knight's Tournament; two Magnet sets the European version of the Castle Board Game, The Brickmaster's combo set and the 2009 sets.
Very Respectfully
DGH and band of sons

That is a lot of minifigs! Nice work in making up so many varied armies. The Green faction looks neat, reminds me of the good old days...

Congrats on reaching such a respected number of figs!
