AWESOME!!! I think the battlepacks are a great idea. I wish they'd hover more around $10 myself but still a neat set. The Dwarf ones is very good.

Orc and troll?? Or do you mean Orc/troll? I want Orcs... With the new red heads in the upcoming Lego board games, Orcs may be "in the cards." If not, we'll still have the heads for them!
To those who are about to Lego: toss me a few bricks.

I believe Garbageman was referring to the troll battlepack that is coming out. People are using the terms Orc and Troll interchangably.

As for the board game figs, I don't believe their heads come off. The heads are smaller anyway, so if they come off they aren't very useful. (I'm not sure why "Orcs" need to be red...)

Yup, and I'm pretty sure they are the same size. So I guess we can make our own orcs!
JoshWedin wrote: (I'm not sure why "Orcs" need to be red...)
So we can tell them apart from trolls. And because red is much eviler than sand-green.

Maybe it's interesting to mention that there are some red-headed trolls/orcs in the new ds lego battles game, while most of the other characters are real.

I think red heads are more for devils and demons but not for trolls

I always used the lego small trolls as orcs so I do not really feel the colour needed to set them apart. That said I will have to get some of these games as I can think of loads of uses for them! :orc:

I believe Josh was referring to the castle board game, "Lava Dragon", where the playing piece's heads are smaller than normal minifig heads and are not removable.

Are those red heads supposed to be orc heads or is that just what you take them as?

Just what I take them as. I prefer to use TLC trolls as trolls, because green just seems more trollish to me.

Yea I don't use my trolls as orcs either, but I would rather have orcs with more of a blackish color than a bright red, like those heads in the board games. But I wonder if they will ever make a whole minifig out of those heads and I wonder what they would title them. I would take them as demons personally, but I don't think Lego would want kids playing with demonic minifigures.
