Which one commands the element of Suckiness?Formendacil wrote: Black: Dirt
Red: Rhubarb
Purple: Eggplants
Green: Beans
Blue: Robin eggs.
King: Plastic
Shadow Knight: More dirt
Guardian: Baling twine.
And what would excersizing your power over Bailing twine look like exactly?
How would one gifted with such talent prevent sexual innuendo and/or mockery?
I imagine the Knight of String Cheese has similar ridicule issues...

If I were to give an Element to each knight...
I'd be broke. I don't have money for one Honda Element, not to mention five.
An Element is a name of a really ugly car (at least IMO). An element, in the case of this thread, is not capitalized, since it is not a name or a title.
Black: Chaos
Red: Fire
Light Blue: Wind
Green: Earth
Purple: Water

Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day.
Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Something similar to the Daimyo/Cactus master affair happened on Brickset.
Daimyo=me/other people
Cactus master=sir persis
It wasn't pretty. Sir persis told me to buy every set I saw to help the company, and someone posted as him, and he fled. He was a hippy anyway.

Elements
Well ... I like how LEGO itself sort of assigned a personality to each color with it's newest wave of Knight's Kingdom, but if I had to go for it I suppose I could think up some elements for each. I myself would probably go with a virtue that matches it as well. Since torsos and legs have been made in most every Lego color ... I'll try for the colors I have.
White - Snow/Purity
Grey - Stone/Steadfastness
Tan - Desert/Spirit
Brown - Earth/Simplicity
Yellow - Light/Hope
Green - Forest/Youth
Blue - Water/Grace
Light Blue - Wind/Agility
Red - Fire/Anger
Purple - Shadow/Guile
Black - Death
As for Orange and Pink ... I'm out of ideas. Most of the last bit came from a combination of The Legend of Zelda's Sage's Seals and Pokemon Types. But whatever. I like the idea that Purple is Shadow and not Black, because not everything that lurks in the night is evil or deadly. Shouldn't fear night.
Anyway, that gives Jayko agility, Vladek death, the purple wolf guy guile and shadow (and wisdom and cunning) and the green fellow youth (he's the joker, right?).
Well whatever folks.

I can't help but notice the similarities between KKII and the Legend of Zelda: The four swords for Nintendo GC. I mean...evil shadow lord (Gannon), Four heroes (Link in his four forms), a kindnapped ruler (King of Hyrule or Princess Zelda if you like ), and an army of darkness (Gannon's legion). Am I playing too much Zelda, or is TLC playing too much Zelda? Oh, and the original question would be answered (according to my Zelda theory):
Black - Evil
Green - Nature or Forest
Red - Fire
Blue - Water or Ice
Purple - Shadow

Blue - Water or Ice

"Elements are Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, only four."
Also ether, which is what the stars are made of. Unfortunately the KK2 knights reside within the orbit of the moon, and are thus corruptible.
I found a good summary of the classical view of the elements here:
http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.c ... 20elements
C.S. Lewis' _The Discarded Image_ is really good at describing the medieval view of nature.
Actually, looking at the article cited above, I think that the four humours would be a better basis for the KK2 knights:
Danju - Knight of Phlegm
Rascus - Knight of Yellow Bile
Santis - Knight of Blood
Vladek - Knight of Black Bile
Jayko - the Humourless Knight

But then we'd need a Steve Martin minifigure to be the Barber/Medieval Physician from the S.N.L. skit.Bruce N H wrote: Actually, looking at the article cited above, I think that the four humours would be a better basis for the KK2 knights:

Martin: "What you need is a good bleeding."
Murray: "But I'm already bleeding!"
Martin: "Hey, who's the barber here?"
